Manners and Decorum

The age-old adage "You can judge a man by his manners" still rings true even in today's more relaxed society. Research has shown 80% of women will be more attracted to a man with good manners rather than one with sheer good looks, so it is important to be well mannered. You never know who you are going to meet.

Good manners and an air of decorum are essential in society and business, because without them you will not break through "the glass ceiling" into the Boardroom.

Some of the points to be considered in maintaining good manners -
  • Good strong salutation when meeting people.
  • Look people in the eye when speaking to them.
  • Please and thank you goes a very long way.
  • Speak clearly and avoid foul language.
  • Show respect to older people and senior management.
  • Keep your phone on silent during office hours.
  • Listen to people before you respond or offer an opinion.

More of the above will be explained in detail on your day
