Personal Corporate Protocol

Being an accomplished gentleman in business is like parenthood - there is no training so how do you learn? Look, listen and be patient. Learn to listen with your eyes and see with your ears! Think about it as all will become clear. So how can I help? Read on ...

My name is Christopher Hall. I was privately educated at preparatory and public schools where you followed a disciplined structure in academia, sport, and practical hobbies. This gave me a very good foundation to begin my career in the retail motor industry ultimately becoming Chairman and owner of the business, which in today's market would have had an annual turnover of more than a hundred million pounds. A few years after selling the business I was approached by a Venture Capital Bank to help with improving the corporate etiquette in several of their investments, which I did for nearly ten years to great success.

One of the unexpected consequences of the pandemic is the lethargy and diminished personal presentational skills that have developed in the workplace. Reduced interaction with colleagues has led to a tendency to dress and behave more casually leading to an overall decline in personal standards and efficiency.

Following many requests from company CEO's I have returned to the corporate world to help with some guidance and advice on the correct etiquette and social skills required by a man wishing to present himself as a gentleman in todays business world. Being promoted and expected to interact with more socially experienced customers or senior colleagues can be daunting at best and embarrassing at worst.

Preparing for senior management is like taking up a new sport, it requires guidance and dedication to achieve a level of competence. The same goes for being a businessman in today's corporate world. Whatever the scenario - being prepared helps!

All of the above headings can be covered in a full one-day session, which can be held either at your place of work or a mutually convenient Hotel..

My time, experience and advice are offered to those people who would seriously appreciate acquiring the necessary corporate etiquette skills quickly rather than learning the hard way by making embarrassing mistakes.

If you have ambitions and wish to avoid many of the etiquette pitfalls, please call me on 07836 205152 to discuss your options or email me at image@christopherhall.co.uk
